The Mouse’s Song

A beautiful tale of accepting who you are and going after your dreams…

One day, I was singing while picking some flowers and guess what I saw! A baby mouse! It was crying.
“What is wrong little mouse?” I asked with deep concern.
“What is wrong is I am a little runt!” The mouse sobbed with anger and sadness in her voice at once.
“Why do you say that, baby mouse? You still have time to grow.”
She stood up and gave me a dirty look. “Well for your information, I am a teenager and no longer growing! And I said that because my boyfriend broke up with me just for that reason! My friends went away and my family left me behind and all I ha-”
I cut her off.
“So this is what you’re doing? Sitting here and just crying? What do you think someone is going to think if they find you here? I mean, think of what you always wanted to do but never got to! Think of your dream! You could show the world that, just because you are small, doesn’t mean you can’t do things! What do you say?”
“Well, okay. I did always want to sing, want to hear a song I wrote?”
“Alright,” I said. “Go ahead.”
“My song is called Roses And Weeds”
You think of me as a flower!
I think of myself like a weed!
You say I’m there giving you trouble!
You start to go away!
Just like a rose by a weeeeeeeed!
So what did you think of my song?”
“WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOO!”
There was a crowd! She proved to everyone that size did not matter as much as it did before!
She and her boyfriend got married had two kids and lived happily ever after!!

    Ahhh!!!!! that is a good story but where is the mouse’s family? thats wierd a mouse with no family or home that is sad to i would cry if i had no family or home
