City Opens!

April 18, 2009

Wahoo! The City is open in HandiLand. We’ve also released tons of awesome features, games and ways to interact with the furniture in your house.

These are just some of the cool things going on in the City and in HandiLand:

  • The City is open
  • We’ve got HandiLand Bank, a beauty salon, a rock concert venue, a skateboard park, a dance club, a historical society, a sandwich shop, a mall and MORE!
  • We have new games like Traffic Jam, Pigeon Parade, Cubicle Chaos, Record Breaker, Marble Madness and much, much more.
  • New games will be coming out in the next few weeks!
  • Now you can sit on chairs and couches and lie on beds from the most recent furniture collection. Try it in your house or at a friend’s house today!
  • You can now buy music for your house, so rock out.

We’ll be posting tips and tricks for all the new features every day of this coming week, so stay tuned for more information.

    I LOVE THE CITY I EVEN THINK THAT THE YELLOW CAR IS LIKE MY SISTERS!     Yes, there’s more to do in the city but some of the changes I just don’t like. For instance, there are “keys” on some items in the catalog which is just a dumb idea to me. The bugs with interacting with furniture drives me crazy, I’ve got stuck in tables and become invisible when switching to another room while sitting or laying down. Punks In Love seems to have been taken away and the kids who aren’t in the Cool Cat’s Club depend on that to win prizes to trade with. I’d like to say more but I won’t, for now.

    I agree about the keys. I really don’t care for bringing in the “real” world into the whole Handipoints world, but I’m sure it’s a calculated effort to get more paying customers. Instead, the membership price should be lowered, or…even better…make it so that kids get a free month if they get so many points…earned in some way. ALl of my kids just got gold keys, so unless they try to find someone to trade keys with, they have no way to buy any other keyed items. Ah well. At least Punks in love is up and working again.

    Ummmmmm… I dunno about the city….. I mean it’s okay but not at all what i’ve been expecting. I mean what the heck!!!!! The store in the mall isn’t even open!!! I mean come on ppl it’s common sense… r u cavemen or something???? JUST OPEN THE DA** STORE ALREADY!!!!!
