HouseHunt: ~twilightfan~
July 21, 2009
It’s summertime at ~twilightfan~’s house, with lush waterfalls and pools and a crowded, jolly atmosphere where all her friends can come and gather.
And true to her Twilight series fandom, she’s set up a room perfect for Bella and Edward to hang out in and talk about Edward’s dazzling skin:

Our favorite part is the partition with the beautiful screens and torches that sets a calming mood against the rocking blue floor. And the lights here are low enough that any vampire would feel at home. If ~twilightfan~ would just add a nice pattern to the walls, this room would be perfect!
Until next time, we’ll be House Hunting!

Step into this relaxing house and let the worries of your day slide right off your houlders. prettygurl501 dishes up a palace of themed rooms for every taste. Above, she shows us her luau room with relaxing blue floors and lush green walls. Don’t you just want to curl up in that pineapple tub? Next, she takes us to a busy hive of frenetic activity:

Only a buzzy, busy bee will be able to sleep here, but prettygurl501 sure does make her hive-themed room look inviting. With all those warm, golden tones, she manages to make even a beehive seem like a cool place to hang out and grab some pollen.

After a relaxing day at the luau and a bit of buzzy business at the hive, prettygurl501 has set up a room where you can just kick back and watch the sunset, telescope included.
With warm colors and an inviting flair, prettygurl501 is one awesome Cool Cat, whose house we’ll be back to often. Until next time, we’ll be House Hunting!

Some houses don’t need many fancy rooms to make a splash. Kittyuny’s house, for example, isn’t a big house, nor is it completely fancy. But there is a cool atmophere here, created by the gray and red details.
There are also subtle water touches, as you can see in this bigger picture:

From the porthole window to the ocean in the first picture to the cool, blue and inviting bath against one wall, this reminds us of a very relaxing bathhouse where you can relax, shake off the cares of your day and get some time to yourself. We wonder if that was what kittyuny was going for or if this is just a reflection of this Cool Cat’s chill state of mind. Either way, we’d be happy to hang out here any day.
Until next time, we’ll be House Hunting!
HouseHunt: Victoria7
June 23, 2009
This week’s Cool Cat to have their house featured on House Hunt is Victoria7 and her house makes us giddy. There is just so much to see. What you’re looking at in this picture is just one small sample. If we zoom out on this room, we can see that there’s a whole lot more to explore:

What we really like is that there’s this feeling of coziness and isolation because there is rain going on outside, on Victoria7’s background. With the rain pounding oudoors, don’t you just want to curl up inside the house and get toasty?
It’s a perfect atmosphere. Here’s another one:

With this room, Victoria7 has created a library fit for an expert bookworm. With all these shelves, endless books and a nice, cozy bed to curl up in, who would ever want to leave?

This room here is all about fun. There are video games, a bouncy house, guitars and statues to amuse Victoria7 and all her friends. Next up, even more fun:

We leave you to marvel over her cool outdoor garden. What we really like is that she used the same floor from the Rainy Day collection as the background for her main room. There’s a really cool, unified feeling here. What’s your favorite room of this house? Until next time, we’ll be House Hunting!

June 16, 2009
Tikkitoo’s house only has one room, but it is a good one. Our favorite thing about this room is how colorful and vibrant it is. It’s like a meadow of wildflowers, made even better by the luau background that brightens up the whole scene.
We can tell that tikkitoo loves animals and plants, and I’d love to just hang out here and soak in the colors. Here’s another view of the room:

From the pink table to the kite details throughout, we can’t wait to spend a summer day in this Cool Cat pad. Until next time, we’ll be House Hunting!
HouseHunt: MitziRich
June 9, 2009
MitziRich has impressed us before with her stylish presence on the Catwalk. Now she’s making an appearance on House Hunt for her equally stylish house! If you’ve ever been to MitziRich’s house, you know she’s got a great sense of decoration and an appreciation of the outdoors. That’s why we chose her this week, because we just launched The Great Outdoors furniture catalog and she just happens to have several rooms that celebrate being outside! Like this one:

This sparsely populated beach is a delightful mix of yellow and green. It looks like any spot in this room is free for you to spread out you beach towel, and that is a very relaxing sight. She’s also got:

A more woodsy choice of outdoor area, which makes me think of camping out under the stars and the soft smell of wet dirt. Both rooms are just perfect for some summertime fun and we’re very happy that MitziRich is helping us keep the spirit of the Outdoors alive. I bet she’s going to have a lot of fun with the new furniture catalog. We can’t wait to see what she does. Until next time, we’ll be House Hunting!
HouseHunt: Daisy Rose
June 2, 2009
Daisy Rose’s comfortable, stlyish house fills us with warm and happiness. Her home is friendly and inviting without being too stylish and cold. She’s filled it with items she loves and probably enjoys sharing her house with other cats.
One cool thing she’s got is a Calming Room:

This fun, colorful space is meant to wash away all the cares of her day… that’s why she has a pool smack dab in the middle of it!
Daisy Rose also has:

A formal dining room for entertaining and inviting her friends over. She’s set up an elegant space with lots of warm red and burgundy colors to make everyone feel at home.
Finally, Daisy Rose has:

A room fit for a pretty princess, where she can come and sleep away after hanging out in HandiLand. This room is fit for a queen and uniquely hers. We bow down to Daisy Rose this week, the queen of comfort!
Until next time, we’ll be House Hunting!
HouseHunt: H3x
May 26, 2009
This week, we’ve got a very exciting house to share with you, a house created by Cool Cat H3x. What we especially love about this house is the theme that runs throughout it. H3x has really shown her personality with her creation, and one way she expresses herself is flowers. There are flowers in her main room, above, and in many others. See if you can spot them all.

This is a room she can use for when Cool Cats come over and need a place to stay. This is the perfect clubhouse or hideaway, with its rustic wood but cool, alien window touches.

Spotted the flowers yet? This whole room is called “I love flowers!” and it really shows.

H3x also displays her love for the Jonas Brothers because this room, designed just for rock stars, is called the Jonas Room. I can see all of the Jonas Brothers hanging out here and having an awesome time!

H3x must also love animals because she created this awesome garden safari. I know I’d love to hang out here in this lovely summer weather we’re having. What about you? I’ll see you at H3x’s house! Until next time, we’ll be House Hunting!
HouseHunt: HoneysuckleRose
May 19, 2009
There’s nothing sweeter than honey… or HoneysuckleRose, that is. With this cute and charming Cool Cat’s house, we’ve got a light and airy main room with a lot of places to sit and relax. The polkadot party wallpaper just adds to the appeal. We’ve also got lots of rooms that share the same simple charm like:

The kitchen! From the cute cherry-top table and blue chairs to the hot cocoa machine, this is just the kind of kitchen where you’d welcome all your friends, the kind where you can almost smell the wholesome apple pie cooling on the windowsill. We’ve also got something a little more hip:

The Fashion Room, where HoneysuckleRose comes to try on new outfits, store her clothes, stash her ice skates and have sleepovers. Overall, this house is cozy, casual, comfortable and very, very cute. What’s the atmosphere your house is giving off? Is it a pleasant, relaxing place to be? Figure it out and get your friends to vote for you. You never know if you’ll see yourself up here. Until next time, we’ll be House Hunting!
HouseHunt: MagicPretzel
May 19, 2009
This week, we’ve got a delightful house by MagicPretzel, who really tore out all the creative stops. The room above is pleasant enough, but wait until you see MagicPretzel’s other room! There is a restaurant:

Look at how wonderful this restaurant is! We have a fountain in the middle and actual booths (made from couches and tables) on all sides. I know I’d love to have a meal here. We’ve also got another theme room:

A Honeymoon Suite! This room is complete from the wonderful fountain to the valentine furniture to the music, which MagicPretzel picked out: First Kiss. There are more cool rooms in this Cool Cat’s house than we can show you here, so head over there right now and check out some creative genius at work. Until next time, we’ll be House Hunting!
