Redheaded Beauty

Yoshilopez has put a clever spin on the pretty white tutu she’s wearing with a pair of fierce biker gloves and plaid punk rock pants.

Looking at this Cool Cat from the waist up, you’d see a pretty and delicate princess in a tutu. Taking in the whole outfit, though, puts a totally new spin on two completely different styles. We’re really excited to have such fashion icon roaming around in HandiLand!

HouseHunt: alley99

Today, we travel to alley99’s humble abode to take in some of the simple and clean sights and sounds.

The living area here is sparse and done in cool and welcoming shades of gray and blue. Take a look:

But this Cool Cat’s house has a wild side! Move past the living room and you encounter alley99’s very own jungle room, complete with caveman music for the animal in you.

Even though the house seems like it has split personalities, that tells us a lot about creative cat who designed it! Until next time, we’ll be House Hunting!

Mad Genius

As most of you know, we’re always looking for cool costumes here on the Catwalk. Well, this week we found drai and were blown away by the creative and uninhibited sense of style. While a lot of cats in HandiLand spend time recreating outfits they’d normally wear, other cats dress up in wild and crazy things that they might not wear to school.

Drai has the hair and goggles of a mad scientist, then the neon striped shirt and fiery wings of a butterfly. There’s a contrast here between the Evil Lady hair and the hopeful and happy spirit of the wings and we’re really enjoying it!

HouseHunt: Pretty Maids

Pretty Maids has already proven she’s got style by being featured in our Catwalk column several weeks back. We had no idea, though, that this awesome power of hers extended to interior decorating! Take a look:

Her main room is full of mood and ambiance, a very swanky place to hang out that’s full of deep colors and lots of inviting places to sit, organized in spare and wide-open patterns.

Next, she’s set aside a cozy bedroom for the kids with pink and fun motifs, all while a chilly bank o windows reminds us that it might be cool and snowy outside, but inside, it is welcoming and fun!

Here we have a wonderful blue-lit backyard for stargazing and enjoying the sights and sounds of nighttime. There’s an observatory in the corner, baths, and trees… everything an excellent yard or garden needs!

Next we’ve got a library. But unlike some of the libraries we’ve seen, this one puts emphasis on hanging out, lounging and reading instead of putting in a maximum number of bookshelves. Here we’ve only got enough to hold Pretty Maids’ favorites, and then lots of couches and nooks for reading!

Finally, when all that reading and stargazing have filled Pretty Maids’ guests with wonder, they can come inside for one of the coolest things we’ve seen yet on HouseHunt: a movie theatre and music studio with rows and rows of inviting couches. Someone make the popcorn and, until next time, we’ll be House Hunting!

Scavenger Hunt Stamps Delivered Daily

Here’s a friendly reminder to all the cats in HandiLand: no matter if you’re a member of the Cool Cats Club or not, you can earn a brand new stamp every single day of the week, just by solving a Scavenger Hunt clue.

To check your messages, click on the little envelope button in the HandiLand menu bar on the bottom of your HandiLand screen. From here, you’ll get a clue just like the one in the illustration for this tip.

Decode the words to figure out which room we’re talking about… that’s where the stamp is hidden. To find it, click on the walkable squares of the room until you find your prize.

Stamps aren’t just fun to collect, they can also be very handy to trade with for clothing or furniture items that you might want, so don’t forget to grow your stamp collections and play every day!

HouseHunt: lillibeth

Lillibeth has created a place full of whimsy and imagination, where all her dreams can take flight. She’s created a cute and functional house with plenty of theme rooms. Take a look:

Who wouldn’t want to relax and soak in the bathtub-lined room above? It’s a great and colorful place to take in a bath and soak away one’s cares. There’s nothing quite like an exciting but soothing room to help soothe stress.

The water motif is also strong as ever in a room that’s got a garden and jungle theme going on, complete with the relaxing sound of waterfalls burbling in the corner.

Finally, it’s fun to primp after a big day of relaxing, so there’s an awesome space for getting dressed and ready to go out on the town. Here’s a great place to put on make-up, try on clothes and prance around the mirrors. A great house that we’d be lucky to call our own. Until next time, we’ll be House Hunting!
