Some houses don’t need many fancy rooms to make a splash. Kittyuny’s house, for example, isn’t a big house, nor is it completely fancy. But there is a cool atmophere here, created by the gray and red details.

There are also subtle water touches, as you can see in this bigger picture:

From the porthole window to the ocean in the first picture to the cool, blue and inviting bath against one wall, this reminds us of a very relaxing bathhouse where you can relax, shake off the cares of your day and get some time to yourself. We wonder if that was what kittyuny was going for or if this is just a reflection of this Cool Cat’s chill state of mind. Either way, we’d be happy to hang out here any day.

A Little 80’s Energy

This is a very unique outfit that pairs the Dance Teacher hair that lends it a 1980’s flavor with pretty sandals and white dress. The pooch in cute blue pajamas only helps to add to the fun. We picked this outfit for this week because, as some of you might know, the world lost Michael Jackson, a musician who made most of his music in the 1980’s.

With this look, honey553 has taken a very basic outfit and given it her own spin and style, just like Michael Jackson did with his signature sound.

How To Find Your Stamp Books

We’ve gotten a few questions lately about how to find the Stamp Books and the Stamp collections, so that is this week’s tip. There are two ways to find Stamps. If you want to walk around HandiLand, you can always head to the ‘Burbs and then go to the Post Office. At the counter once you are inside, you can click on any pink square and go directly to the Stamp Books.

You can also follow the News Feed on your Score Card page. If anybody else has done anything with Stamps recently, you can just click on that bit of news to go to the Stamps area.

Now you can start collecting and enjoying all the cool Stamps that are hidden througout HandiLand, waiting for you every day.

Fairytale Charm

Not only is sbrochu a fairy tale princess herself, she’s got a fairy friend to help her navigate the world of fairy tale. Sbrochu pairs a simple but elegant princess dress with white sandals and luxurious Rapunzel hair. Then she puts herself in a room that might as well be in a castle tower or in a rambling mansion in the countryside… perfect for a Knight in Shining armor to come and rescue her!

She’s not alone in this story, though, she’s got a fairy there to keep her company and fight the bears, gnomes and trolls that usually populate a fairy tale world. Oh my!

Parking Puzzle Packs a Fun Punch

There is great news in HandiLand for all those cats out there who love puzzles. Our newest game, Parking Puzzle will challenge you for hours! To find it, just head to the City and then to the parking lot next to the Mall.

How to Send a Postcard to a Friend

A lot of cats might not know that they can send postcards to their friends. Here’s how! All you need to do is click on the Petals icon to access your Friends window. If none of your friends are online, you can send a postcard to a cat in the room by clicking on the Cats in Room tab.

Once you’ve selected a cat to send to, click their name and you’ll see their picture. Underneath, there are five buttons. Click the one that looks like a postage stamp. Now, pick out a postcard and send it along.

Easy as pie, and you will make your friend’s day… or maybe even make a new friend!

HouseHunt: Victoria7

This week’s Cool Cat to have their house featured on House Hunt is Victoria7 and her house makes us giddy. There is just so much to see. What you’re looking at in this picture is just one small sample. If we zoom out on this room, we can see that there’s a whole lot more to explore:

What we really like is that there’s this feeling of coziness and isolation because there is rain going on outside, on Victoria7’s background. With the rain pounding oudoors, don’t you just want to curl up inside the house and get toasty?

With this room, Victoria7 has created a library fit for an expert bookworm. With all these shelves, endless books and a nice, cozy bed to curl up in, who would ever want to leave?

This room here is all about fun. There are video games, a bouncy house, guitars and statues to amuse Victoria7 and all her friends. Next up, even more fun:

How To Reset Your Wall, Floor and Background Colors

Sometimes, you might just want to go back to basics and revert to the old gray background, wall or floor that came with your House originally.

To go back to the gray background, all you need to do is find the gray square in the floor, wall or background sections of your My Stuff box. Drag this gray square into your house and the wall, floor or background. The wall, floor or background you had there before will go back into your tab for future use.

HouseHunt: tikkitoo

Tikkitoo’s house only has one room, but it is a good one. Our favorite thing about this room is how colorful and vibrant it is. It’s like a meadow of wildflowers, made even better by the luau background that brightens up the whole scene.

We can tell that tikkitoo loves animals and plants, and I’d love to just hang out here and soak in the colors. Here’s another view of the room:
