Hip Flip
April 27, 2009
While AllisonFagerson gave us a very girly take on a similar outfit, kinzcat shows us that a skirt and blonde hair don’t have to be too sugary and nice. Here, she’s taken pretty much the same catwalk outfit we just posted and turned it on its ear. We’ve got pink, sure, and really cute blonde hair. The breed of cat is even the same.
But kinzcat took the look and made it sporty with white sneakers and a useful and breezy t-shirt instead of a more fashionable jacket. This looks like a cat who is up for anything, with an outfit that goes from school to the blacktop to the skate park. Two very different cats playing with the same colors… you don’t get any more Cool Cat than that!
Popin’ Pink
April 27, 2009
This super cute outfit is brought to HandiLand by AllisonFagerson, who came up with a truly versatile masterpiece that goes from school to the mall with friends to a night out at the movies. Her supercute skirt and awesome puffy jacket match with their sweet colors of pink and white. To make the outfit even more fun, she’s added darker pink shoes.
Finally, the long blond locks play up the lighter colors while going really well with the breed AllisonFageron has chosen. Finally, she’s decided to top it off with the best accessory of all… a play pet!
Sunflowers in the Sunshine
April 27, 2009
We’ve got a lovely portrait of sunny spring colors here form missy the cat! From the sunflower background to the sunflower hat, dress and sandals to the warm brown teddy bear to the… superfuturistic hero glasses? That’s right. It would all be dasies and sunbeams if missy the cat hand’t injected a bit of her own style into this costume.
And you know what? The supermodern shades totally work. They give her an edge. It makes us think that missy the cat can be cute and girly one minute, then be totally fun and geeky about something (in a very good way) the next! She’s got the best of all worlds going on in this outfit, because smart girls rock.
HouseHunt: Freshcat
April 27, 2009
Freshcat has a fresh take on things with their Cool Cats Club house! As with some of our other favorite houses, Freshcat has used some great themes. Below, we’ve got a whole room that’s outfitted like an awesome space ship or space station. Climb aboard and shoot into orbit!

The theme for this next room, as Freshcat puts it, is “oasis”. And there’s definitely the feeling of a refreshing outdoor space in the middle of the desert. We’ve got a waterfall, lush greens and even a few grazing desert animals on a nice, flowing carpet of yellow sand.

Good job Freshcat, from the Sahara to outer space, we’re feeling like world travelers today. Until next time, we’ll be House Hunting!
HouseHunt: rocker girl
April 27, 2009
This rockin’ house brought to us by rocker girl really does rock. She’s put music in every single room and designer her kitty mansion with the greatest of care. From her warm and inviting main “home” room to her other theme rooms, let’s take a tour!

The above room is like a Hollywood fun pad, where rocker girl can relax after a concert and have fun with her special backstage cats. It’s got enough bright colors to be interesting but enough darker hues to also be rock and roll.

The room above is in completely contrast with its bright green floors and magenta details. It makes total sense for rocker girl’s character, though, because this is… of course… a dressing room! Here rocker girl can show off her fashion smarts and get ready to go out and rock HandiLand!
Until next time, we’ll be House Hunting!
How to Find Your Old Favorite Games
April 21, 2009
If you’ve been around HandiLand recently, you’ve noticed that three games were missing: Punks in Love, Stack a Snack and Puzzle Shuffle. Well, they’re all back now, you just have to find them.
We’ll give you a very obvious hint: Punks in Love is where it always was. But the other two? We’ll never tell.
Just remember. You can play games like Punks in Love and Funny Phone Booth to win prizes. If you’re not a member of the Cool Cats Club, you can really use these prizes to your advantage and get quite a collection of things to trade.
So for all the cats asking where these fun games went, wonder no more.
City Opens!
April 18, 2009
Wahoo! The City is open in HandiLand. We’ve also released tons of awesome features, games and ways to interact with the furniture in your house.
HouseHunt: mslovelace
April 18, 2009
“A colorful, fun romp” is the best way to describe mslovelace’s house. She’s got tons of rooms with lots of furniture in them and ever room has a wonderful, different theme. Our favorites are the pictures below:

This room must be named and themed after mslovelace’s favorite movie, because she called the room “moster versus alien.” And we totally see it! There are all these cool lightning storm and alien details and the colors are dark and moody. I can just see a monster and an alien duking it out here in an epic battle!

And for something completely different, mslovelace very smartly used the Mitzy Meowerson floor pattern to give us a vibrant green garden completely with tons of animals grazing and enjoying themselves. Her garden even grows Christmas Trees! How cool is that? Here is a huge “Congratulations!” to mslovelace, who has taken theme rooms to the next level.
Until next time, we’ll be House Hunting.
HouseHunt: SweenyTodd
April 18, 2009
“Attend the tale of Sweeney Todd!” That’s how one of the movie screen’s and stage’s scariest musicals begins. A lot of Cool Cats know Sweeney Todd from the Johnny Depp/Tim Burton version that came out last year, but it was actually a stage musical long before that. A very Cool Cat must be a fan, because they’ve taken their own spin on the name “SweenyTodd” instead of “Sweeney Todd,” and they’ve used details from the story — set in Victorian London — on their house.
Above, we see the Seating Area, where the people in Sweeney Todd serve their customers “the worst pies in London!”

This picture shows the interior of the pie shop. It actually looks a lot nicer than the version in Sweeney Todd, which is much darker and scarier.

And here is the kitchen of the pie shop itself. But I wouldn’t visit this place for a delicious snack. You never know what — or who — is lurking in the pastries. Congratulations to SweenyTodd for capturing the spirit of a very cool movie/musical and bringing it to life!
Until next time, we’ll be House Hunting!
Springtime Blues
April 18, 2009
Mia123 is one Cool Cat with this very stylish outfit. She takes a robin’s egg blue coat with gorgeous white trim and pairs it with bright auburn hair and very casual jeans and sneakers. This look could either be very casual… the way she has it now… or it could easily go from school to cool with different shoes and maybe a purse.
We love the simplicity of the colors here and the bubble gum gives Mia123 a fun edge. This is just the kind of cat we’d like to hang out with. I can’t wait to see more of her outfits!
