You will never believe who I saw on the plane next to me, cats and kittens. None other than Peter Pan. We were headed waaaaay far away from HandiLand and, as the plane was getting ready to take off, Peter was gripping his armrests so hard that it was turning his fingers white.
“What’s wrong?” I asked him.
“Nothing.” He said, or, I think that’s what he said. He was gritting his teeth so hard that it was hard to make out.
“You don’t look too good,” I told him. To tell you the truth, he looked about as pale a sheet!
“I just… I don’t like flying.”
And here I laughed, maybe a little too loud, because… come on! Peter Pan flies all the time! That’s the way he gets to Neverland. “Oh, stop pulling my leg,” I said with a giggle.
“I’m serious.”
“But I thought you loved flying.”
“I do. I love it when I fly. Flying is really fun with the Lost Boys and Wendy. I can just take off out a window and be pleased as punch.”
“So? What’s the problem?”
“I like it when I fly,” he said, giving me a look. “Not when anybody else does it.”
“Ohhhh.” I nodded my head. It made a lot of sense. I always like doing things by myself, too. Well, the plane took off and we arrived safe and sound. Now I’ve got a new friend – but I can guarantee I’ll never see him on a plane again!

Invite Friends to Join the Fun!

Hey there, Cool Cats! Since you’ve been hanging out in HandiLand, you already know that friends make life more fun. Well, now you can invite your real-life friends to come hang out with you in HandiLand.
It’s easy to have your buddies join. All you need to do is go to the main Handipoints website: www.handipoints.com and click on “Invite Friends!” in the top right-hand corner.
There you’ll see two options. You can send e-mails to your friends asking them to join, or you can print out fun invitations at the bottom of the page to take to school! The more friends you invite to HandiLand, the more fun it’ll be!
Change Up Your Background

A lot of Cool Cats have been asking how to change their backgrounds. It’s super easy! Log in to your Handipoints account and find your Dressing Room. Once inside, you’ll see an area in the bottom right-hand corner for backgrounds.
Simply select which background you want and your cat will appear in front of it. Now, when anybody checks out your profile in HandiLand, they’ll see your new background! Neat, huh.
If you don’t have any backgrounds, or if you just have a few, check out the Clothing Catalog and buy some more – they’re the cheapest items in the Catalog and make changing your cat a breeze!

Cinderella’s a Multitasker

Now that Cinderella’s found her prince, what does she do with those glass slippers? I went over to her house for dinner with her Prince Charming the other day and was shocked! Not only did her prince do all the cooking and cleaning in the kitchen, but Cinderella had some of the cutest tableware around!
“I don’t need the shoes anymore, I’ve nabbed my guy,” she said, pouring herself a big cup of juice in her… you guessed it: glass slipper glasses!
“Don’t worry,” she said with a laugh. “I washed them out. Besides, I don’t really like to wear them. They’re super uncomfortable.”
As we finished up with dessert and I got to see her fairy tale ending played out right in front of me, she wrapped up her story perfectly: “Ditching that uncomfortable old shoe on that staircase was the best thing I ever did.”
And now she’s got tableware that’s a great conversation piece. Later, gators…

Pied Piper Jazzin’ It Up

There were some kickin’ tunes coming from the field. I was on my summer vacation in Hameli, Germany last week and wanted to know who was rocking the bluesy, bumpin’ beats coming from the fields. To my surprise, it was the famous Pied Piper himself!
“I wanted to mix it up. I’m really great at the flute, but I want something that’s more awesome! There are tons of fields around here in Hamelin. The flute just can’t carry across town. How am I going to get those rats out? The sax is a lot better!”
Besides, the flute is a little old school. When I reminded him of this, he laughed. “Yeah, I wanted something a little modern.”
Maybe he’ll make up a new fairy tale, the Jazzin’ Jammer of Hamelin! That’s all for meow…

Summertime is here and it’s good to be chillin’ out! Petshop2 can show us Cool Cats a thing or two about hangin’ ten. She rocks a cool, laid-back vibe with this outfit. The shirt, shorts, sunglasses and sandals match her surfboard, while her pretty pigtails and the blue and green lei give her outfit a little bit of girly fun.
The red bows in her hair even match her shorts! You don’t need a crown, cute hair and make-up to make it on The Catwalk – it’s all about being yourself. That’ll come through your clothes. Congrats to Petshop2!
