A New Take On An Old Favorite
June 30, 2008
One thing that moviemakers are really good at is doing a remake. It seems like everywhere we look, we’re seeing old, familiar faces given that shine and polish. New action takes on an old comedy, new horror takes on old adventure movies. Then, there are the fairy tales. Here’s what we think about Catocchio, the newest remake to hit HandiLand screens.
Under The Sea
June 30, 2008
Last week, the exciting Cool Cats Magazine Travel section took you to the snow-capped peaks of HandiPeaks. Now, we’re leaving the road less traveled… in fact, we’re leaving the road altogether and hitting the water. Today, the Roamin’ Rambler takes you under the sea.
Biggest Block Party Ever!
June 30, 2008
It’s been less than a week since Kitty’s Home opened its doors and the Neighborhood saw a wave of Cool Cats moving in. Even though these awesome changes to HandiLand are brand new, we’re already enjoying the biggest block party ever!
Tasks Are Tailor-Made
June 30, 2008
Every family and every Cool Cat is unique, that’s why we have a really cool feature that lets you totally customize your Tasks. If you want to have your Task say “Feed Fluffy” instead of “Feed the dog,” go right ahead!
All you need to do to start playing around with Custom Tasks is:
- Log in t your Handipoints account
- Click on the Task Charts tab
- Click “Add or Edit Tasks”
- Click “Create Custom Tasks.”
From there, you can type in the name of the Task and edit it like any other Task. If you want to change the Handipoints value, make sure to ask your parents to do it from their Parent Portal account.
Are You Getting All Your Points?
June 30, 2008
Hey Cool Cats, did you know that you might be missing out on points? When you check off a Task TODAY, you get your points right away. If you check off Tasks for any other day, like Tasks from yesterday or last week, those Tasks go to your parents for grading. After your parents grade the Tasks, then you get your points.
If you didn’t know this, hurry and ask your parents to log into their accounts and get grading. Just a friendly reminder from the folks at Cool Cats Magazine.
Pretty Fairy Tale Fun
June 30, 2008
If you want a burst of summer, check out Sunshine1198. She gives us a modern take on the Little Red Riding Hood Dress. We think Little Red’s basket is getting quite the upgrade with this stylish purse and the pink Country Star cowboy boots.
Even cuter, Sunshine1198 has added some make-up to the mix and given Little Red’s little red hood a cute hair makeover: a beautiful blonde head of locks with a shiny tiara on top.
Even fairy tales need an update every once in a while, and Sunshine1198 has made her Catwalk fantasy come true!
Swashbucklin’ Fun on the Catwalk
June 30, 2008
Yarr, mateys! If you want to have a proud pirate as a friend, find slide in HanidLand. Slide is rocking a simple, awesome outfit that’s fit for the high seas.
He has matched pants with a bright yellow waist, green shoes and a fun blue headband – yellow, green and blue are colors that work really well together! Just so we weren’t confused, he added his awesome sword and the Peter Pan background which is… of course… the deck of a pirate ship. See? Even cool guy cats can strut their stuff on The Catwalk.
Cute and Edgy for Summer
June 30, 2008
Cool Cats – we just want to let you know that WE LOVE COLOR here at the Cool Cats Magazine. If you match really well or if you’ve got an unexpected collection of items that play off of fun colors, we are going to love your costume. Take genna16 here. She makes a delightful outfit with only three costume pieces. What’s not to love?
The shoes are cute and simple, they go really well with the dress and then the hair adds a little edge to the outfit taking it from boring to crazy and creative! The breed of the cat really helps the bright pink colors pop!
